LX – Architecture of the Invisible

LX – Arquitetura do invisível

Mixed media on canvas120 × 40 cmHeight × width · canvas

In this painting, I sought to capture the way light fragments Lisbon across its hills. I was inspired by the relationship between the city and the gaze, where nothing is entirely defined. I wanted to convey a sense of movement and suspended time. My semi-figurative, semi-abstract style allows the landscape to be suggested, while lines and impasto add texture and invite the viewer to feel the light beyond the image.
