Lisbon – The City as a Fragmented Echo
A Cidade como um Eco Fragmentado
In this piece, I sought to portray Lisbon not as a fixed place, but as a memory in constant transformation. Inspired by the city’s hills, I explored how the gaze fragments the landscape over time. I wanted to convey a visual echo, where figurative and abstract elements coexist. Lines and geometry structure the space, while impasto adds texture, inviting the viewer to feel the city beyond the image.
