Blues in Layers of Time
Blues em Camadas de Tempo
Mixed media on canvas90 × 90 cmHeight × width · canvas
In this work, I sought to translate blues as a layering of time and emotion. I was inspired by the atmosphere of New Orleans and how music carries memory. I aimed to convey this fragmented sense of time through a style between figurative and abstract, with lines suggesting movement. I use impasto to create texture and give physical presence to sound.
