Between Gesture and Harmony
Entre o Gesto e a Harmonia
I sought to capture the moment when music stops being merely sound and becomes emotion, memory, and inner silence. By portraying this violinist with her eyes closed, I wanted to convey a feeling of complete surrender to art and imagination. My semi-figurative and semi-abstract style, combined with lines and geometric elements, allows me to suggest movement, rhythm, and fragments of time. The texture created through impasto enhances the sensory and almost musical dimension of the painting.
