Fragments of Blue and Affection
Fragmentos de Azul e Afeto
In this work, I sought to capture the delicacy of the bond between mother and daughter walking by the sea. I wanted to convey protection, tenderness, and the idea that love shapes horizons. I chose a semi-figurative, semi-abstract style to suggest memory and emotion, using vertical lines and fragmented areas as metaphors for time. I apply impasto to create texture and physical relief, giving density to light and blue tones.
