Fragments of Old Lisbon
Fragmentos de Lisboa Antiga
Acrylic palette knife painting80 × 55 cmHeight × width · canvas
In this painting, I sought to capture the soul of Lisbon’s old neighborhoods: the lively façades, the hanging laundry, and the stories of its people. I wanted to convey the poetry of everyday life through my half-figurative, half-abstract style, using impasto to build texture and depth. I hope viewers feel the bright nostalgia and authenticity of this fragment of the city.
