Girlhood Lightness

In this piece, I sought to capture the lightness and innocence of childhood’s early artistic gestures. The ballerina girl is portrayed as a metaphor for a suspended world, where the body becomes poetry in motion. I aimed to express that delicacy through a semi-figurative and semi-abstract style, using impasto and vertical lines to add texture and visual tension to the composition.
