In this work, I sought to capture the moment when sound becomes image. I chose a jazz musician playing saxophone in a dreamlike setting to convey freedom, improvisation, and introspection. My semi-figurative, semi-abstract style, with vertical lines and fragmented elements, suggests rhythm and vibration. I use impasto to create physical texture and relief, making the music almost tangible on the canvas.
