Notes Dragging Through Light

I sought to capture the moment when sound becomes matter. In this saxophonist, immersed in the dim light of a jazz bar, I aimed to convey energy, tension, and movement. I use a semi-figurative, semi-abstract style, with lines and shapes suggesting drag and echo. The impasto creates texture, almost like tangible notes. I chose this theme for the freedom of jazz — I hope the viewer feels the rhythm and gets lost in it.
